It is very sad for the CS & CG and the CCCEF to write of the passing of Mike Robinson on Feb. 9, 2025.
Throughout Mike’s life, he was the ultimate auto parts man/manager, working for many car dealers over the last 47 years. His knowledge of parts for vehicles, new and old, was given freely to anyone that needed help. Mike also received the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Award, and held the title for 40 years.
Mike and his wife also established their own successful business, “Mid Atlantic Auto Dealer Inventories”; which conducted physical parts inventories for many dealers.
On the hobby side, Mike loved working on classic Chevy vehicles since he was young. In recent years, he was working on his 1963 Corvair Greenbriar Van. He was also a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.
Mike was one of the first photographers for the Cruise Guide, and an original founding member of the Save the Hobby Foundation. He was also a judge at many local car shows over the years.
On behalf of the CS&CG and the CCCEF, we send our prayers to Mike’s family, friends and co-workers. On a personal note, Mike was a dear friend to Drew and I for over 23 years. Keep cruisin’ Mike, until we see you again.
Sincerely written by Anita M. Hill
